How it all began

Our families knew each other growing up, but we never imagined we would find ourselves dating once we reconnected later on as adults. Our story began at Barley Oak on the corner of Lakeshore and Lafitte where we met for what we thought was “A drink and good conversation…” and it sure was. Just days later, we began our relationship and from that moment, God has been so good to us every step of the way. We’ve experienced so many blessings and wild adventures and have had countless opportunities to travel, make the best memories and find time to enjoy the little things in life. We got engaged on May 7th, 2020, an unsuspected Thursday evening “date night” in the beautiful courtyard of the Southern Hotel in downtown Covington with the help of their amazing staff. The evening included some of our favorite pizza, a bottle of wine and champagne which was a sweet surprise complimentary of the hotel. We’ve felt it from day one, but something begins to shift when you find your life-partner. Truth be told, God’s timing is everything and we’re excited to do life together as soon to be husband and wife.
