Deep Trust in the Lord

Thankful for a photographer that could give me the perfect “bridal portraits” they day of the wedding.💕 Planning a wedding teaches you to DEEPLY TRUST in God.👏🏻🙏🏻

Back story // I became severally ill in November, 3 months prior to the wedding. (Not COVID) I oddly enough got an intense bacterial stomach infection and lost between 15-20 lbs and was having the hardest time gaining it back. God is so good because it never once occurred to me that my dress would not fit, or that I wouldn’t be able to have bridal portraits done prior to the wedding. He protected me from any sort of anxious or nervous thought..THANK YA JESUS!

Of course my dress did NOT fit AT ALL eliminating any chance of bridal portraits. It didn’t fit a month before the wedding and neither did it fit two weeks before. {God helped me just laugh through the whole situation.} My AMAZING seamstress got my dress fitting one week before the wedding and I got to finally take my dress home!🎉 Can I get an AMEN.😅

All this to say, that even though it wasn’t exactly how I planned it, God’s plan won out and I couldn’t be more thankful. Giving me an opportunity to deeply trust and joyfully give the situation to Him was the best gift of all.

My advice to any bride-to-be: Smile and laugh through all the ups and downs of wedding planning. God’s got YOU and it really will all work out.💕
